Bio

 

John (Korgboy) has been composing and sound designing his own original music since the age of eight after not being able to hear up to the age of six. He studied at Cornell University and Ithaca College and worked in the original electronic studio developed by Bob Moog. At Ithaca College, John taught advanced film students how to develop soundtracks for film projects. Worked in recording studios in New York, Chicago, and Washington, DC. I have CIDP. He is from Bethesda, Maryland. 

 

John's music features lush avant-garde funk synth arrangements blending traditional instruments with new sounds created by himself. His music is like seeing a movie with your ears. His extensive knowledge of " left field sound design" has allowed him to configure music that is more than a melody. Think synthesizer, think cool, think ahead of his time.  "The textured music is three-dimensional. Seriously original."
